This week, we're once again looking back at the Southern Show, taking a tour about the stands, and watching the Young Farmers cook up a storm in the cookery competition

It's a special episode of Countryside this week from the Southern and District Society Agricultural Show where Kirree and Simon speak to the big winners, organisers, and dignitaries in attendance

Clarky is up at the Queen's Pier in Ramsey this week and he also stops by the Southern Show field to see how everything's coming together for the weekend, and Kirree heads to The Mallards Botanic Gardens with the Southern Beekeepers

This week, Simon is up at Ballig in Jurby finding out about the Fletchers' South Devon Herd, and Kirree heads to St Marks Fair to enjoy some sunshine, Manx dancing, vintage tractors and traditional sports!

Kirree is up at Ballakillingan speaking to farmer Brian Brumby, the Manx Wildlife Trust, and a group of young people on a visit learning about agriculture and wildlife, and Simon is out at Jurby taking a tour of some gardens open for charity this weekend.

In the last of the current series, Kirree heads south to a tractor rally and Simon heads the opposite way - no change there then - to find out about farming in Smeale and how to count bats . . .

This week, Simon is sheep shearing with the Young Farmers up at Ballasteen Farm, he goes looking for wild flowers with John Dog Callister, and Kirree finds out what's been happening at the Wildlife Park

This week, Simon is dodging paint balls and booby traps with the Manx Airsoft Club, and Kirree visits the tenth annual Seed Swap & Plant Share in Laxey

Kirree talks to MNFU president Tim Johnston and joins friends of MNH in Santon for tea and cake in a beautiful garden .. . while Simon celebrates camping in Ballaugh and tries to tempt Kirree under canvas again ..  

Kirree gets down with the cats at the island's first Manx cat cafe and Simon catches up with the ongoing work on Ramsey's Queen's Pier - and finds out about opening plans for its 135th anniversary this summer!

This week, Simon's finding out more about life as a small-scale vegetable shop owner, he also visits the Motor Museum to see what's going on, and Kirree is at the Cronk-y-Voddy Ploughing Match!

In this new series of Countryside, Simon finds out some big news from the team at the Southern District Agricultural Show, and Duncan Longworth pays tribute to a true gentleman of the Manx agricultural scene, John Bregazzi, who sadly passed away recently

This week, Kirree is at Ballaquaggin to see the ploughing, and Simon finds out what the island's Young Farmers have in store for the rest of the year, and looks ahead to the Annual Young Farmers Concert which we all hope can be postponed until after this Circuit Break Lockdown
