Brandi Is Going To Hell [quickies]

Adam Breeze, drums, of RavenEye joins me to talk about the band’s new music. Late January, RavenEye released the title track off their forthcoming album Animals, which was recorded at the legendary Monnow Valley Studio in Wales with Grammy Award-winning producer Warren Riker. We chat about the recording process, what Adam added to the new record (since he didn't record on the band's debut Nova), touring the world opening for legendary acts, and we chat about coffee and CrossFit to close it out.

After not seeing each other for nearly 15 years, my anonymous sidekick Montana (hence all the bleeps 'cos I kept saying her name) and I were reunited at Double Down Saloon by our dead pets. We had cupcakes and talked about sex. And the birth of this segment was born. On this episode, we talk about our first times. Gross, un-magical, and awkward.

My boyfriend Mike and I went to the New Jersey-nude beach Gunnison Beach twice this summer. It is located within Sandy Hook, and is federal land managed by the National Park Service. Dicks, and tits, and perves, oh my! Aside from that, lots of laughs and a good couples experience!

Gooch and I get stoned and talk about his upcoming musical endeavors (he's heading to Americana Fest with his band Gooch & The Motion to perform on Jam In The Van, and he's performing at Teddy Pendergrass's 70th Birthday Gala...nbd). Gooch is quadriplegic from an accident, and he is also in remission from battling leukemia; in order to curb the pain and manage the side effects of chemo, he smokes Mary Jane or eats edibles. Hopefully this High Times chat will be reoccurring and help fight the stigma that marijuana still carries in America and throughout the world.

I chat about joining CrossFit - its community, changes in my body and health, and why I even decided to do it in the first place.

This week, a man in business casual attire pushed me into elderly people to catch a train (we had a yelling match), I saw a dead body on the subway platform, and a dweeb complimented me on the PATH. I talk about all those things.
