In 2005, it was about time for Twiztid to release another album. So they released 2! Like, back-to-back. Who the hell does that? So after the massive success of The Green Book, and Monoxide taking some time to flex on his own, Twiztid reunite to flex together and apparently talk about conspiracy theories. Do Twiztid stand out when they get "woke"? Do they rap really really well, but don't really have a direction with said rapping? The Joker Cards have come and gone. The saga of the Dark Carnival has ended and would never EVER been touched upon again. Insane Clown Posse have still been around, though. Between guest features and projects like Dark Lotus, Psychopathic was still having a fair share of clown sightings. But they wouldn't just be relegated to sitting back and living off the fruits of their labor. Inspiration would strike, more music must be made to satisfy the Juggalos. But this next project would push them to uncharted territory, doing EVERYTHING by themselves. Could ICP take the knowledge they've gained over the years to make a cohesive album on their own? Esham surprised the both of us when we reviewed Repentance. It was a damn solid album when we didn't expect much from it, and it stands out as a pure rap album in Psychopathic's catalog that Juggalos can appreciate. Now we move onto his 2nd album of original material on Psychopathic, an album that Mike has gone on record absolutely despising for the better part of a decade. But hey, this show has caused Mike to find a new appreciation in quite a few albums, so it's bound to happen here, right? Guess we'll find out together! Does Esham still craft some damn good beats? To many, ICP is a parody on rap in general, but it shouldn't be overlooked that they ARE fans of the genre and have a great deal of respect for those that came before them. That respect turned into a friendship and business partnership with veteran MC Breed (or "Breed", for short).
