Christopher is an organiser of Yatra Australia, he is passionate about the environment, human ecology, meditation and guiding others to find a deeper connection with self and country. Yatra is the Sanskrit word for pilgrimage, a process of ‘Investment in Self, an organisation that offers amazing, 10-day nature retreats. Including a combination of yoga, meditation, silent walking, dharma teachings and story telling around the camp- fire. A Yatra provides the opportunity to temporarily return to a simple and humble way of living on the earth. This is his story, and this is his passion. My guest today is Sophie Gralton. Wow, she is fabulously awesome. An incredible woman who creates hauntingly beautiful paintings, interwoven with historical letters and books she has collected. Sophie crops the gaze of her subjects in her paintings, she thought that no one would want to see images of her girls, but they are so very successful and leave the viewer to find their own connections with her artwork. Sophie discusses getting her ‘mojo’ and going with flow and what works for her, including listing to podcasts, being an introvert and sitting on the couch drinking coffee as a methodology to create her almost sold out art exhibitions.
