We watched "Prey", the new Predator film, a few weeks ago and felt compelled to recommend it to you, as well as take the time to discuss the major(ly stupid and invalid) popular criticism of this film, which is that the main character, a Comanche woman, is an overpowered "Mary Sue". That is, she's supposedly too smart and-or capable to be believable as a real person in this fictional motion picture about an alien coming to Wyoming in 1719. The idea that "Hollywood" is a hive minded entity hell-bent on subverting and overturning society as we know it is also addressed in this episode, as our theme tonight seems to be hilarious and paranoid ideas. Anyways, the film is pretty damn great, and anyone with a Hulu subscription should check it out this weekend, it's a good time and Amber Midthunder is a certified BAMF. --- Thanks for joining us!
