Victory In Jesus Part 2: Assurance is an important idea for Christians. The Apostle Paul asserts that "we know" that God is working for us and that our victory is sure; but how? The answer is found by looking to the past. Today we will cover Romans 8:28-31 where we'll discover how we are to KNOW that Christ's victory is truly certain.

This week we look at the victory we have in Christ Jesus. With the peace of no condemnation and the vision of future glorification, Paul shows us just how sure God's victory is! Our text is Romans 8:26-28.

This week we pick up in Romans 8:18-25 as we learn what future glorification is all about.

Last week we discovered two bookends of the Christian life: no condemnation and future glorification. This week we're going to zoom in and discover why there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Our text is Romans 8:1-17. Further study: 1 Cor. 15:45, John 8:32, Romans 6:14, 18, 7:4, Acts 13:39, Heb. 10:1-3, 22, Matthew 5:17, Prov. 17:15 and 2 Cor. 5:21.

Being set free from the law of sin and death is an amazing truth! Being called to live in the law of the Spirit and life is humbling. But Paul communicates two bookends that we need to understand, which make this new life joyful. They are "no condemnation in Christ" and God's goal that we "be glorified with Him." Our text today is Romans 8:1-17.

Have you ever heard someone say, "the struggle is real"? Well, concerning walking by the flesh or by the Spirit this statement is true. However, it's not as bleak as you might think. Today we are going to learn what Paul really has to say on this matter. Our texts are Romans 7:14-25 and Romans 8:1-4.

Today we're going to talk about being united with Christ. But before that can happen the Bible reveals that we must die. Our text today is Romans 7:1-13.

Last week we transitioned from justification by faith to a life lived through faith. Today we're learning what we've been baptized into as well as for what have we been raised. Our text is Romans 5:12 through chapter 6.

Today we transition from faith to life. As Christians, our assurance (in all things) is rooted in God and not ourselves. The resurrection assures us of eternal life, and the love of God assures us that our hope in Him will never be met with disappointment. Our text today is Romans 5:1-11.

Today we are looking at four points of justification. They are as follows: 1. Justification is by grace. 2. Justification comes as an act of redemption. 3. Justification required a sacrifice of atonement. And 4. Justification is accessed by faith. Special attention will be paid to faith. Our main text is Romans 4:13-5:1.

As we reflect on our many blessings this Thanksgiving we should never forget those things which God spoke for our benefit. The greatest of these is found in Romans 4 where Paul communicates that the righteousness of God is credited to us by faith in Jesus. Our text today includes Psalm 99, Leviticus 16, Romans 3:21-26, 4:13-25 and 5:1-2

This week we will learn what the kingdom of heaven is like. Through the words of Jesus, we gain knowledge of our responsibility as His followers. What will you do with your gift? Matthew 25:14-30
