This week, we're going back to 1997 with the now-cult classic sci-fi film review of Starship Troopers! Doing their part, Alex & Dan return to the sofa with a retrospective review of what was initially a concern of a far-right advertisement and alleged wooden performances by a stellar line up! Discussing the production, plot, reviews and how it ended up creating a range of sequels and spin off's, the duo guide you through the gory adventures of Jonny Rico and Dizzy! Recounting their memories of when they first saw the film (Alex at one of his earliest pre-teen sleep overs!) and Dan's dodgy tape deliveries at the back of a van, it's another trip down the nostalgia lane for the dynamic southcoast duo! Alex also needs to explain the birds and the bees with Dan, with an uncomfortable parental discussion on arousing thoughts... who'd have thought this podcast would remain in the gutter? Come on! From The Good Dinosaur and Brave, all the way to Monsters Inc. - there's a tall tale of the rise of AI (we've discussed this before, of course!), the demise of the Human race and the anthropomorphic nature of animals - your viewing of these films will never be the same again! That's right - it's been a long time coming (some might say backed up!), but the dynamic duo of the South Coast of the UK cover the repeat offender of Colorado Springs, what were the motives, suspects - and some similar stories from across the world. Dan and Alex discuss what endorsements or pay out's they'd take - and Alex talks about Google Trends on poop and what a "poop noodle" is (don't Google it if you don't know. It's better that way). You'd be forgiven for skipping this one - but to be fair, it is only a bit of fun... until someone defecates in your front garden... #GITS

This week, Alex & Dan are going back to the movie archives and discussing some of their most distressing and life-affirming movie deaths. Who was done the dirty, when mere moments after they were skewered, their friends forget about them? Hyenas will forever be the instrument of nefarious wrongdoing - and why did Alex have literal tears in his eyes recounting a particular iconic scene from one of Denzel Washington's back catalogue? Most of these films are from the 90s children's silver screen and they have absolutely no right to go this hard! Dan returns to the stage as he auditions for Alex's opening traumatic death - for the consideration of Best Recreation of a Cinematic Childhood Trauma at 2025's Oscars! This week, Alex & Dan go back into the Vaults and once more delve deep into their childhood as they discuss TV shows which had them glued to the rear projection set in the early mornings during the weekends!
