A year and a half ago the MLK Labor Council (MLKLC) was alone in applauding SPOG’s awful contract that overturned every police reform of the past nine years. Last week, the MLKLC voted overwhelmingly to throw SPOG off the labor council. What changed? We talk with teacher/activists Anna Hackman and Whitney Kahn to find out.
