In this presentation in the People Of Excellence series, Pastor Dan leads us in a study of Temperance. From Definition to Defining Action we are led to understand the value of Temperance Habits, reasons for Temperance in the Christian Walk, and a brief look at the role of the Holy Spirit as we work to become People of Temperance.

The Biblical Addition Formula tells us to add Knowledge to our Christian lives. As we seek knowledge we must be vigilant to put all teaching and teachers to the test of “What does the Bible say?” The Bible, and the Bible alone, must be the basis for our relationship with God.

This Bible-based sermon focuses on the second ingredient in the Life of Excellence as outlined by Paul. Virtue is to be added to Faith in the Biblical Addition Formula. Faith enables us to take hold of the power of the Holy Spirit so that we indeed live a life of Christian Excellence.

We look at the first step in the Biblical Addition Formula: Faith. Seven Aspects of Faith encourage us to build our Faith as the Foundation for all other parts of the Formula. Faith is the basis on which we cooperate with God to become His People Of Excellence.

Pastor Dan introduces a sermon series that looks at the 8 factors presented by the Apostle Peter called the Biblical Addition Formula. Be inspired to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. Following the Formula enables the Christian to live victoriously. Take your eyes off the obstacles and focus on Jesus and what He has provided for us.
