Someone said in one of my groups to watch what you eat and quit eating dairy, meat, etc in the US. I'm like what!?!? I don't have to do that in Mexico...I eat what I want. So I asked the question of can you eat what you want to my fellow expats. Here are their answers...

When I stepped off the plane, I just knew Mexico was home. Plus, my first day in Mexico City and how I almost had a panic attack.

My time here in Guatemala has finished FINALLY!

The Universe just does not like me being in Guatemala. Almost every day that I go outside something terrible happens! I don’t know if I should leave or stay because I want to be fluent in Spanish as soon as possible!

When you're in Guatemala learning the hell out of Spanish and still Black all day, every day. My teacher thinks I'm crazy, but she truly loves me on the inside! ;)

An introduction to my new blog, Overeat.it, I've been sick, and how am I doing with Spanish?

I'm getting conversational as can be and something, somewhere poisoned me.

My new adventure starts 08/05/2018. I'm SO excited to start learning and to meet my new host family. I can't wait for this new chapter in my life and so I can have more stories to share.

When I tell y’all how much in love I am with Mexico City, CDMX, Ciudad de Mexico, DF, Distrito Federal and everything that comes with it...it has changed my life, made me a brand new person, and gave me a life I could only dream of. But...it’s time for a new adventure. ️

I did not throw up I did not get the runs My skin did not break out I did not die Everything is all right The milk here comes in a carton and is not refrigerated...sits on a shelf. So right along with cheese...it does nothing to me.

Why struggle in the US when you can live a much better life somewhere else? You can have a better quality of life overseas.
