I was always taught about the Samaritan woman as a bit of a loose chick and nothing to imitate. I have been reading don't just stand there and pray something by Ronald Dunn and it is amazing. on p 136-137 there are 7 great tips on how to have even greater power times with God.

  Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1 NIV 2) I love this scripture because it reminds me...  that I have power from God with me all the time which is to pray and most of all never give up. Sometimes forget the scripture has two points which says pray first and focus more on the give up part  Life is very hard right now. I never really had to worry about things in a big way in life before until my mums Dementia has become more prevalent.   Sometimes I feel like giving up rather than praying as my mum's care right now is like caring for a 74 year old child she cannot do much for herself she is incontinent,  can't walk without help, needs help eating and cannot be  left alone. When the strongest people in your life become weak right in front of your eyes, you feel like there is nothing you can do to make a big difference  My mum's dementia can make her fearful, angry, frustrated as it has affec

Improve your prayer life.

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Sometimes us women can focus on the negative and now that can really run and ruin our mindset. But this year 2019 ladies less focus on the victory so thinking about last week, the last month what success did you have? Get yourself a little box or a little bag or something cute. Get some post it notes or piece of A4 and put the success notes into the box so you could have hit all your gym sessions, you finished a book in the Bible, was able to reach out to someone, you finally got over that thing, able to meditate on scripture that really helped you that day and something that's positive that God helped you to do well. Put that note down into victory boxing so when the Hard Times come and you're trying to fight against it you can pull out the notes to get you out of negativity go into a victory mindset.

Reading a book can help to grow your faith in so many ways. Sometimes it's helpful to break down the book that you're going to read into bite-sized chunks so a 200 page book could be read over 31 Days by reading 7 pages each day or follow Jim Kwik on YouTube and he has amazing techniques of how to read one book a week.
