They performed the epic song "This Is My Life" in Semi Final 2 and could successfully qualify Iceland for the Grand Final where at the end of the voting they finished at Number 14. It's  Lesley Roy who was selected by Irish broadcaster RTE to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Story of my life". Unfortunately, due to the Corona pandemie the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was cancelled. However, the artists and the songs were honoured by special TV and Radio programmes. This was also the case at the most recent one in September 2019. Amongst the invited guests was also Adelaide Ferreira who initially was a Rock Singer and later on singing ballads. She represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg, Sweden with the song "Penso em ti, eu sei" which reached Number 18. Many previous Melodifestivalen participants took part and were inducted into the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame.
