    Trolling motors have become quieter over time and we have started to use them more and more inshore and offshore to catch bait eliminates the anchor in certain situations. It has become a really valuable tool and in my pursuit to be able to use the trolling motor all day I have gone through a bunch of different iterations of batteries and chargers. This year we had a breakthrough. We have a Power-Pole charger that charges on the go while we are running it is topping off the start battery and the house battery and any excess charge that the motor is creating is going into the trolling motor batteries.     These Physical Friday podcasts have been a lot of fun for me to go through old workouts that I used to do and trying to find as many workouts that you could do with as little equipment as possible. Today I found 3 workouts that you could do in a small apartment with no equipment and one of them is from Gregor Gillespie (UFC fighter) and the other two I think you will enjoy as well. Workout 1 This workouts is a ladder workout where you will do a number of burpees and then follow that with 10 sit ups. I start with 20 burpees and do 10 sit ups. Then do 19 burpees and 10 sit ups. You will go all the way down until you do 1 burpee and 10 sit ups. Time yourself and see what you are able to get!     Captain Scott Walker and I talk about some of the do's and don'ts of reef fishing while we can tuna in his kitchen. The Florida Keys have reefs 4 miles out, easily accessible. Because they are easily accessible you need to be courteous because there will be many boats out there trying to fish. Charter boats are out there trying to make a living and you are out there to make your friends and family happy. The biggest mistake I see is how much chum you bring when going fishing. Before you even set out make sure that you are taking enough chum. Chum and they will come. The commercial blocks of chum are very bulky, Scott uses 7-pound blocks and uses a dedicated cooler for chum and fills it up with as much as he can. Reefs support a lot of fish and chum holds them there - so when you pull up, if boats are already lined up, keep your distance (about 50-75 yards) and set your anchor out in front of your boat so when you come tight you will be stern to stern with the other boats.   • 3 Quarantine Workouts That Can Be Done Anywhere With No Equipment - PHYSICAL FRIDAY #55

    We are on day 10 of the April Challenges so that means that you should be adding 1 burpee a day and today we are on 10.  If you don’t know about the challenge you can read a full description here.  We also are getting ready to add a little to the breathing protocol and cold showers.   So tomorrow, we move to a 1:00 cold shower, 3 rounds of breathing + 1 additional round where we add a max set of pushups at the end on a full inhale.  We continue to add 1 burpee each day. Since we are all quarantined and limited in space and equipment, here are 3 workouts that can be done anywhere with no equipment.  The movements are simple and do not require much room to execute.  We will only use the following movements for these 3 workouts: Burpees, squats, mountain climbers, box jumps, pushups, jumping jacks and split jumps. I do suggest that you have a stopwatch or download a free HIIT Timer App, CrossFit App or Workout Timer App that includes Tabata.     In our last installment of acronyms and nicknames in the Crossfit world, we are going over RFT. This is "Rounds For Time" and in this case we will use an example. Say you are doing a famous benchmark Crossfit workout called Helen - run 400 meters, 21 kettle bell swings, and do 12 pull-ups. You will do this 3 rounds for time. CrossFit workouts and many other types of workouts will designate how many rounds you will do. The "For Time" part means that you are going to complete that many rounds as fast as you possibly can. You track your finish times and you can see progress in your fitness. If you can do more work in less time then you are fitter by definition.
