We make decisions in order to change and grow ourselves and while the idea is great, the resolutions we set tend to fail 90% of the time. In this series, we look at what Christianity teaches about how God changes us and how it brings us the life and hope we long for. 

So often people set New Year’s Resolutions at the beginning of the New Year. There is something about the beginning that tends to spark thoughts in us about what we want to do differently in the new year. We can tend to see our flaws, acknowledge our weaknesses, and want to find ways to change ourselves.
