When our circumstances shake us, it is important for us to remember why we do what we do. Over the next few weeks we will look at the “why” behind our mission as a church: To be a safe community where anyone can discover, develop, and deepen a relationship with Jesus.

Over the last several weeks we have been looking at the words Jesus said and the implications they have on our life and faith. In this week’s message, we look at what Jesus said about baptism and what that step looks like in the life of a Christian.

Things that Jesus said have huge implications for our life and faith. In this message, we are going to look at something that Jesus said that changes everything about the way we experience Christianity and has the power to change our lives.

We live in a world full of conflict and tension, which makes it difficult to find a deep sense of acceptance and value. We tend to strive in order to prove that we are good enough. In this week’s message, we look at something Jesus said that has huge implications for our lives that can give us real rest from our striving.

This week we are focusing on a specific interaction that Jesus had with someone, and how this interaction speaks into one of the biggest problems we have with God. We will look at what He did and what He said, and the implications it has on our lives today.

In this series, we are looking ahead to Easter and focusing on what Jesus said and what He did and we are asking...“What are the implications of Jesus?”

We live in a “before” and “after” culture, and yet so much of our lives are lived in the middle. Are we just supposed to survive the middle seasons of our lives? Or can we live and grow right in the middle of where we are at? In this week’s message, we continue to discover that it is in the hard middle that we come to know who God really is and learn to daily depend on Him.

The message in our culture points to the highlight reels of our lives, focusing on the “before” and “after” of our stories. Yet the reality is that so much of our lives happen in the middle of our stories. In this message, we look to scripture to see what God did in the middle of David’s story to find the help we need to trust what God is doing in the middle of our own lives.

We love Chattanooga. It’s our heart as a church to love this city and the people in it, and point them to the hope of Jesus. As we do that, it’s important to look at what it really means to Love Chattanooga. It’s a great hashtag and looks good on a bumper sticker, but what is really behind it? In this service we ask that question and have the opportunity to talk to people who are loving Chattanooga in their lives everyday.

In our culture there are so many versions, ideas, and interpretations of what a Christian is supposed to be, and so often Christians do not look anything like Jesus. In this series, we are looking at what a Christian should actually look like. In this week’s message, we continue to dig deeper into Christianity to discover what it really looks like to love and serve like Jesus.

Week 1 of our series, "Christian?" So much was shaken in 2020. Churches closed down and most people had their normal habits disrupted, making it difficult to navigate faith and live it out. As we begin 2021, what does it look like to be a Christian in today’s world? We live in a culture where there are so many versions, ideas, and interpretations of what a Christian is supposed to be, and so often Christians do not look anything like Jesus. Jesus taught us what a Christian looks like and in this series we want to look at what He taught.
