What should disciples of Jesus do? Let's start with worship!

Everybody lives forever.... somewhere.

I believe all people are loved by God and need Jesus Christ as their savior.

Stewardship is central to what it means to be a person of faith. However, what does it mean to live out the call of stewardship in our lives? In this week’s lesson we are going to look at what it might look like and why it matters for today.

What do you believe about the Church? Is it in line with what Jesus believes?

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”

Jesus asks a lot of questions throughout his ministry. These questions often force his disciples to ask themselves questions and ponder deeper truths about God. This week's question forces disciples then and now to consider the extent of their obedience to Jesus.

In other words, Jesus provoked space for his disciples to ask questions and experience doubt. In this week’s lesson we will talk about the place of doubt in the walk of faith.

Jesus asks a scared group of fishermen on a boat who had been fighting a furious storm all night a fascinating question. He says to them, “Why are you so afraid?” That’s a question for us to consider as well. Why are we so afraid?

Jesus asks each of us, “Who do you say that I am?” How you answer that question can change the trajectory of your entire life!

Each day as we live our lives with a sense of God’s presence we are in fact preparing to have a more powerful encounter with the Lord on Sunday.
