Desiree Kleypas really digs plants.. Jokes aside, she really digs plants and sharing the knowledge she’s gained through the years through the Mid County Victory Garden and The Giving Field in BMT. These volunteer-operated community gardens are used to educate folks on gardening and the eventual fruits of their labor are donated to local organizations that feed the less fortunate. OUT NOW Jill Waldrep was suffering an emotional breakdown one day. It was definitely not her first, due to ongoing health issues, but she wasn’t going to let this one keep her down. She told her worries and pain to piss off, cause she was gonna paint. The end-result was a watercolor self-portrait which inspired a book that has empowered over 40 women across the great state of Texas. Dennis and Leon Moncla's Pop gifted them a pinball machine back in 1977 kicking off an obsession that has stretched all the way into 2019 and now includes their youngsters, Preston and Kelly, who then took it even further, onto the internet. After a quick stint in Archaeology, Rachel Wilson decided she'd much rather be growing bones than looking for them. It definitely makes more sense seeing as she comes from a looooong line of Texas ranchers.
