Logan Wimme is a young Wisconsin kid who moved out west to study forestry at University of Idaho. He started elk hunting as soon as he touched down in the Gem state. Logan has put two bulls on the ground in 2 seasons of public land elk hunting in north Idaho. We discuss how he's been able to have 100% success on public land when the average success rate hovers below 10%. I was invited to hunt South Texas with the Pnuma Outdoors Recon Team late October 2021. The initial invitation was for axis deer, hogs and possibly some whitetail does. I didn't flinch at the opportunity, especially since the hunt was at the end of October when I historically don't have much going on for hunts. This turned out to be one of the greatest hunts I've ever been on and I ended up shooting my biggest whitetail buck to date.
