Alex talks with Nino Mattarollo, a retired Ontario Certified Special Eduation Teacher and founder of The Laird House Eco Sports Educational School Camp. They talk about the announcement that the province will enter phase 1 on Friday, Nino needs to rush and hire on staff and find volunteers. The camp is a non-profit which means he also now has to rush to find private and corporate sponsors. The camp was supposed to open last year, but the pandemic put the opening on hold. Registration is also low as many weren’t sure when the province would reopen and if it would be safe for their children.
