Often times we’ll accept a situation that we know will turn ugly real quick if we don’t get on top of it. But what do we do? We push it back to a point when we think to ourselves, “that’s when I’ll get started.” It’s called procrastination. And when you procrastinate, you add to your worry. And when you worry, you have lost control and don’t do work, you just hope and pray. Play like a champion. Have a sense of urgency. Get the work done now. Be in control. Make stuff happen. Greatness awaits. GO --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support

I remember when I got started in a company called Primerica. I was in charge of creating my own schedule and I wanted to only work 3-4 days a week. I remember the days that I wanted to take off were Friday, Saturday, Sunday and any holiday in between. When I was done creating my schedule, I think I had less than 180 wroking days on my calendar. It was ridicuolous. How could I ever get work done with that mindset? In this episode, I will also tell you about the countdown app that I had that would count down to when I was geting off on Friday’s. Once I rejected this mindset, things changed. I began to see everyday as a new opportunity instead of seeing a day as Hump Day or TGIF.
