Dimension X was a classic Sci-Fi old time radio Show that ran on the NBC network from April 8 1950 to November 29th 1951. These are adventures in time and space told in future tense. The first episode you are going to hear comes from a play adapted from a short story that appeared in the Saturday Evening On Christmas eve 1949 and was written by Graham Doan Was adapted For Dimension X by Ernest Kinoy. The show is called, The Outer Limit. The second show you're going to hear Is Jack Williamson’s famous story, With Folded Hands Which was first published In July 1947 in an issue of Astounding Science Fiction.

Barrie Craig, Confidential Investigator, starred William Gargan as the lead role of Barrie Craig, William who also played the better known TV and old time radio detctive Martin Kane. Ralph Bell starred as his associate, Lt. Travis Rogers. Barrie’s office was on Madison Avenue and his adventures were fairly standard PI fare. Barrie worked alone, solved cases swiftly and efficiently, and feared no man. As the promos went, he was your man when you can’t go to the cops. Confidentiality a specialty.

Mayor of the Town was a old time radio comedy drama starring Lionel Barrymore and Agnes Moorehead which aired on NBC CBS and ABC from 1942 – 1949 ans was written by Jean Holloway, Leonard St. Clair, Howard Blake, Howard Breslin, Charles Tazwell, and Erna Lazarus. Mayor of the Town was directed by Jack Van Nostrand and produced by Murray Bolan. The show dealt with some pretty serious subject matter and Was very well written, acted, And directed. I think you’ll really enjoy the show.

Case Dismissed was a short lived old time radio program that ran on NBC in 1954. It was created to show just how fragile our Freedom and Liberties are and how important the US justice system is in protecting them.

My Friend Irma was an old time radio comedy staring Cathy Lewis—and Joan Banks as Jane Stacy and her Scatterbrained Stenographer, Irma Peterson, played by Marie Wilson. Irma’s Boyfriend, Al, Played by John Brown, has more get rich quick schemes than Don Lapre. He also refers to Irma by the pet name, Chicken. The Radio Series ran from 1947-1954. There were also 2 feature films, My Friend Irma, in 1949 which also featured Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, and My friend Irma Goes West in 1950.

The Show was created by Monty Masters who originally was going to star as the Lead Private investigator, but was convinced by his mother-in-law to make the lead female, so Monty employed his wife, Natalie Parks, to take on the lead as Candy Matson.
