American writer Henry Miller, born in Brooklyn, New York, is known for several 20th century works that reflect his own personal experiences, including Tropic of Cancer (1934), Black Spring (1936) and The Rosy Crucifixion Trilogy (1965). Miller's explicit and often obscene content led the way for a new generation of American writers. He died on June 7, 1980 in Pacific Palisades, California. “Paris is like a whore. From a distance she seems ravishing, you can't wait until you have her in your arms. And five minutes later you feel empty, disgusted with yourself. You feel tricked.” "...God knows, when spring comes to Paris the humbles mortal alive must feel that he dwells in paradise....it is the the intimacy with which his eye rests upon the scene. It is  his Paris. A man does not need to be rich, nor even a citizen, to feel this way about Paris." - Henry Miller

The big Easter episode! Big deal, right? Forget Jesus, where's the chocolate eggs? Well, look, he died on the cross for our sins so maybe you should knock off all that pagan nonsense and get on your knees in prayer. Or whatever. It's all bullshit anyways. "I think the Bible ought to be ceremoniously and reverently burned every Easter. We need it no more, because the Spirit is with us. It’s a dangerous book, and to worship it is of course a far more dangerous idolatry than bowing down to images of wood and stone. Nobody can confuse a wooden image with God, but you can very easily confuse a set of ideas with God, because concepts are more rarified and abstract." ~ Alan Watts

Highway ramblings. True Detective. Death is certain. Rust Cohle: I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware. Nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self, this accretion of sensory experience and feelings, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everybody's nobody. I think the honorable thing for our species to do is to deny our programming. Stop reproducing. Walk hand in hand into extinction. One last midnight, brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal.

They were the best-selling singles band in the world. They had awards, credibility, commercial success and creative freedom. They deleted their records, erased themselves from musical history and burnt their last million pounds in a boathouse on the Isle of Jura. And they couldn’t say why. This is what KLF is about... Also known as the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu Furthermore known as the JAMMs the British number one hit as The Timelords The Manual (How to Have a Number One the Easy Way) is a 1988 book by The Timelords (Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty), better known as The KLF. These Guys Are from England and Who Gives a Shit! This mix began as an homage to plunderphonics artists like Negativland, The Tape-beatles, and Chenard Walcker but expanded beyond my powers to control it. There's clearly a death theme running through the podcast which is punctuated by The Suicide of Socrates, who was sentenced to drink a cup of poison hemlock. The Beatles by a prominent role; they get mashed up with The Beastie Boys. There's a B-52 demo version of 52 Girls in there to prop up a "girl" subplot. Other treads emerged that could've extended the runtime to infinity. Happy New Year. Hope you enjoy it. 'Now, good sir, you understand these things. What must I do?' 'Just drink it and walk around until your legs begin to feel heavy, then lie down. It will soon act.' Have you found what you're looking for?

Exploring the rabbithole that is new age bullshit. With help from the Firesign Theatre's Everything You Know Is Wrong, Abraham Hicks, Ergo Phizmiz, The Pleiadians, and so much more. Plus a special weather report from Frankie Macdonald of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Thanks to his warning I was prepared for the power outages that plagued my area this week. Also, the first 20 mins of music was made by me.  The quantum cycle is overflowing with electromagnetic forces.   We exist as ultra-sentient particles. Today, science tells us that the essence of nature is intuition.   Illusion is born in the gap where transformation has been excluded.   You must take a stand against dogma. Yes, it is possible to confront the things that can exterminate us, but not without aspiration on our side. Where there is dogma, wonder cannot thrive. Humankind has nothing to lose. Our conversations with other beings have led to a refining of ultra-joyous consciousness. Reality has always been overflowing with pilgrims whose hopes are nurtu
