Organized by the University Neighbourhoods Association and hosted by CiTR, the 2019 Kids Radio Camp ran from July 15th through July 19th! During this very full week, campers attended workshops on comedy writing, hosting a radio show, audio editing, music DJing and more! They also connected with a number of CiTR’s exceptional radio DJs including Chris-a-Riffic’s Parts Unknown, Duncan McHugh of Duncan's Donuts and CiTR’s legendary, Nardwuar the Human Serviette!After a week of preparation, the kids put their new radio skills to work and presented their very own one-time radio shows! In pairs of two, the campers presented three half hour radio shows live on Friday, July 19th from 1:30pm - 3:00pm! They are as follows:1:30 - 2:00PM - Light it Up (with Deemah & Sage) 2:00- 2:30PM - Trap Radio (with Kea & Aliyah)2:30 - 3:00PM - Two Takes (with Astrid & Max)
