Host Deardra Shuler interviews Alison Mills Newman who was born on Long Island, New York but raised in LA.  She began acting at 12 years old.  She guest starred in “Mr. Novak,” the “John Forsythe Show,” “The Love Boat,” “Room 222,” and “Rap Up.” An original cast member of the historic television series, “Julia,” starring Diahann Carroll, Alison played the babysitter Carol Derring.
