This week we brought in writer and speaker Ijeoma Oluo to make us SUPER uncomfortable.  She brings up so many amazing points about systemic white supremacy and really challenges us to look at our role in society.  Are we doing everything we can to stop it?  Or are we living comfortably and quietly benefiting from it?  If you're a white, cis-male, be warned... you're going to be confronted with some ugly truths.   But we don't stop there!  She also shares with us her fears at the mother of male children of color, what it's like growing up as the only black kid in school, mixed race privilege, and we also tackle a very touchy question about transphobia.  Ijeoma is a phenomenal writer and you should absolutely pre-order her book, So You Want to Talk About Race! This week we're joined by the absolutely wonderful Danielle Perez.  Danielle is a a stand up comedian who, at the age of 20, was in a severe accident that left her in a wheelchair.  She talks with us about that accident, the process of acceptance, and how life can completely change in the blink of an eye.   We also dive into ableism, PTSD, drug and alcohol abuse, dating, comedy, sex, regret, and The Price is Right!!
