Jonny and Stacy review Halloween week events in Carbondale, city ordinance violations at "The Pony Cabaret," closings of LGBT venues locally and around the country, and new LGBT film and television projects in the works.

Jonny discusses advances in Marriage Equality in October. He also plays and discusses brief documentaries on what the word "queer" means and why some LGBTQ identified people embrace a Christian identity as well. Finally, he ends with a plea to all listeners who are able to vote in the midterm elections.

Jonny and Stacy interview Dr. Stacy Holman Jones about her residency and upcoming talk as part of the SIU LGBT History Month. Dr. Stacy discusses the importance of autoethnography and queer storytelling. Elizabeth Kovach and Becky Potter join Jonny and Julie in the studio to discuss a recent grassroots protest movement in Marion IL challenging anti-Marriage Equality billboards on the corner of Rts. 13 and 148. We also debrief last Saturday's (4/12) Carbondale AIDS Walk and share a speech delivered there by local HIV/AIDS activist, Steven St. Julian.
