He’s extremely flattered that someone painted him in vegemite., so much so that Nathan offered to paint him in mince from a pie. And that’s happening tomorrow. Also, the Premier is extremely badass telling off the eastern states, we are super proud.   President of Freo Dale Alcock came on to explain how memberships are going to work for 2020/2021 at Freo – they’re offering a decent reimbursement to keep the club afloat!   And do you have something you show people when they come over to your place? Not the peas! A truck driver down south has lost his load of peas all over the highway – not an easy clean up! So we heard about some other difficult cleans to make him feel better, like Eliza having to clean red wine out of her car, and Sandy who cleaned an explosion of Jam in her kitchen. Fun times!   If you haven’t seen it yet – google the world’s strongest baby. This kid is standing up at EIGHT WEEKS OLD. Unbelievable. That’s right – Alex and Jackson won Legomasters last night and took home the awesome Lego trophy and a hundred grand – after a casual 28 hours of nonstop building. That’s dedications!   We think China are being a bit passive-aggressive in their response to our questioning them about Coronavirus– so we heard about other passive-aggressive responses, like Jess’s boss who put her on nightshift for 6 months for disagreeing with her. Today’s the day when things start to return to normal – and we heard plenty about what everyone will miss - including free parking, at home food delivery and no traffic! We won’t miss COVID though. That can happily bugger off.   Kitty Flanagan called through to plus Have You Been Paying Attention tonight, and also her book which won an ABIA award – the trophy now proudly displayed on her mantle. Well done Kitty!   And we can’t believe our mate Hayden Quinn got the boot from Masterchef last night – we called him to tell us how much he has let us down, especially as he’s also failed to become friends with Chris Hemsworth even after meeting him. Johnny from Meet & Bun gave Nathan the secret recipe for his famous ‘Breaking Bad’ burger, Nathan successfully put it in the sausage roll maker and you will not believe the score the guys gave it!   A guy in China changed race while he was asleep so the guys thought it would be a great idea to chat to Louise who had her hotel room changed around while she was out.   And you might want to change your password on your Netflix accounts after hearing these stories! The beautiful Emma Wiggle is hosting a virtual birthday party for all the kids who missed out during the pandemic – it’s going be amazing. She was actually on the way to take her rabbit Crumpet to the vet (he’s ok).   Nathan attended his Uncle’s funeral yesterday, and listened to his mum when she said to follow the hearse into the cemetery in his car. He was NOT meant to do that and it was super awkward! With Nathan away for personal reason today, Liam Bartlett dropped in to sit in Nathan’s seat and rant about stuff – so a great fill-in really! Plus Liam was our first in studio guest in months and we were SO excited.   Cameron Daddo is guest starring on Home & Away this week, he talked about doing the round in LA as an Aussie actor and also about broadcasting his Smooth FM show from home. It’s weird.   And bossman Dave McClung had 2 attempted crimes happen at his house over the weekend, are you also a crime magnet? That’s right – all the comedians participating in the Stan Lockdown Comedy Festival have filmed themselves doing a stand-up gig alone in their homes. Do you leave space for laughs? How do you set up the cameras? Are you even funny? They’re the questions Wil asked himself, but he did it anyway. And yes, he’s funny!   Also funny is Brad Johnson the Bulldogs legend pointing out Shaun on the homepage of Fox Footy – they’re remembering the demolition derby and Shaun was right amongst it in the melee! Brad reckons WA are right to be upset about having to leave for an AFL hub in Vic.   And today was the first ever episode of Sausage Roll Models – where Nathan uses his favourite new appliance, the Kmart Sausage Roll Maker, to make creative sausage rolls. That’s right - our Premier is in the good books because the regional travel band have been partly lifted and everyone is stoked. Mr McGowan also reckons the boost it’ll give to WA tourism will be second to none. Renee’s husband had an axe hanging in the shed that fell on his head. Charlotte’s workplace has 2 entrances, both of which could kill her. Yep – he’s officially got his truck driver’s license and was meant to be hitting the road except people felt sorry for him and now he’s got loads of work! Well some work, anyway. We did make sure we got his faves from the servo Bain Marie – a pie and sausage roll, paired with a Choc Chill. A true truckie!   Shaun reckons he can’t help himself but be harder on his sons than his daughter – when he went to tell her off yesterday she started to cry and the whole thing ended in cuddles! Apparently daughters getting special treatment is a thing – especially for Casey who got spoilt by her Dad when he went to the TAB!   And when the guys give a prize away they sometimes want something in return….so in exchange for lotto tickets, Gabriel and Paul had to promise a percentage of the winnings. It’s been awhile but Mitch called in to update us on all things Wildcats – basically half the team has gone so we’re relying on him to hold them up! He’s been doing ok in iso – including taking part in a May the 4th nerdy Star Wars video. Love ya Mitch!   Our resident infectious diseases specialist Dr Clay Golledge gave us his opinion on returning to relative normality in WA – he’s cautiously optimistic! Our mate behind the buttons Harry has never used the oven in his house – it’s been 18 months. Oprah has never put a doona cover on a doona! We heard from Mick who’s never been able to read an analog clock, and Victoria who has never done a roly poly, bless.   Sam Pang has never done us wrong that’s for sure – Have you Been Paying Attention? The WA boys with the long hair are killing it on the show and told us about how they’ve figured out what bits are important, and what their favourite bricks are (a snot brick, apparently).   Another one of Perth’s treasures Narelda Jacobs from Ten is celebrating 20 years with the network! She gave us a rundown of her long career and how she’s going over in Sydney.   And we love a bit of a prank – a bloke completely smashed up his wife’s jigsaw as she was placing the last piece! Masterchef Judge and one of our favourite Scots (behind Braveheart of course) is Jock Zonfrillo, he gave us some insight into how stressed the contestants have been getting on the show, and talked about how these days getting yelled at by your chef boss isn’t as bad as it used to be.   A girl got stuck in a washing machine during a pretty intense game of hide and seek – turns out games can go wrong. Ros tried too hard to play the swing into the river game, and Jimmy’s mate got a bit of a shock to the cheekbone from a rogue pool ball.   And kinda funny scenes out of Indonesia, where police are forcing those who aren’t wearing face masks to do push-ups in the street! Other unusual punishments we heard about included very quietly opening and closing doors, and cutting up a bath towel every time it was left on the floor. That’s right – Mark McGowan got to meet Matt the Rockingham heckler this morning when we spoke to him on air. Matt was an interesting character to say the least…but like the rest of us, he just loves the hell out of Mark McGowan our Premier!   And Nathans dad Brian discovered this week that women don’t have Adam’s apples…at the age of 66. As the guys returned from a week’s break, parenting expert Maggie Dent called through to help out with parents who are returning their kids to school from tomorrow. Hectic times!   Steve Butler also chimed in to get the team across everything sport…*crickets*. Actually the AFLW All Australian team was announced and the lack of WA talent was not good according to Steve.   And some stories about when you just had to keep going with it….like Adam who was asked to drive his boss’s car, even though he couldn’t drive.
