We celebrated Nathan’s birthday today – in the most Nathan way possible! He did the show on the couch with Netflix on a big screen TV, being delivered his favourite foods with a giant cup of tea. Some keepsakes included super old lemons, dog appendages and bits of poo. Joy.   And Shaun had a super rough start to today when he couldn’t open his garage door. Turns out its broken. Claire’s alarm got stuck behind the bed at 5am and wouldn’t stop, and Michael was on his way to a locksmith after all his keys got snapped. He’s been trying some recipes in his sausage roll maker in lockdown and he’s keen to see how we go.   A guy has been told he has to redo Year 10 as all his documentation has been lost and he has to prove he’s completed it to join the army! We heard some stories about redoing things – like surgery, digging giant pool holes and massive PhD assignments.   And Melissa Leong called through to chat about the pointy end of Masterchef, and how filming has all been going since COVID-19 hit. We heard from Pauline whose husband told her he’s bisexual after five years, and Nathan’s housemate only just told him after a year and a half he only has half a foot.   And while Shaun was talking sport this morning he spoke about a footy player who’s returning after brain surgery – there were lots of questions about how the surgery is done, luckily caller Nikki explained exactly how they get to your brain to operate on. Let’s just say soup in a sausage roll has potential…but Shaun probably didn’t do the best job of fulfilling it!   And there’s been a recall on bottles of gin – they’re actually full of hand sanitiser.
