Perth boy Chris White chatted to us this morning after making it through to the semi-finals of Ninja Warrior last night. There are very few moments in life that we claim a genuine brush with fame. This is true for competitor Chris, who met his now good mate and world surfing champion Kelly Slater during an event that could have been catastrophic.   Steve Butler from The West called in and he’s back from his holidays and ready to get stuck in to work. He digested the Collingwood footy club saga where coach Nathan Buckley and assistant coach Brenton Sanderson have been hit with a 25-thousand dollar fine for breaking coronavirus protocols.   And Wilford Brimley starred in the 1985 movie ‘Cocoon’ has sadly passed away at the age of 85. Nathan noticed he looks a lot older than he was back then. We spoke to people who don’t look their age. West Coast Eagles super star Brad Sheppard called in with the latest footy gossip. The boys take on Geelong tomorrow night at 6.10pm.  Rival Dockers player Sonny Walters also called in and we chatted about being mates with other players from different teams. The Dockers take on Collingwood on Sunday afternoon. The Ellen DeGeneres rule was put in place this morning. The team couldn’t look us in the eyes and had to be punished if they did! Panel Op Harry had to frantically run around the building and Producer Amy had to pump out Push Ups.  Shaun’s wife Meegan went to get a massage last night and it turned out to be a different kind of ‘massage place’. We talked to people who ended up in the wrong place!  And a guy in NSW invented two children so he could get an exemption and travel across the state to ‘visit’ his kids. Forest The Giraffe has made it in the Guinness World Records for being the tallest living giraffe. We heard from Byron who grew his very own 10 inch zucchini and you will not believe how long Melissa’s friends ingrown hair is! Melbourne City Council have filled a skate park up with sand and bark chips to stop kids going there during the lockdown. We spoke to people who do some naughty things to keep their kids out of stuff.  And a scandalous wedding invite has been sent out and clearly states where the couple ‘rates’ you as a friend. Guests are categorised in to group A,B or C and you would hate to be in the last group… apparently there’s a few people who have been second choice. That’s right…who wouldn’t want to get paid to travel around the world? Well West Aussies Jess and Stephen do exactly that. The pair have visited thousands of countries and have a massive following on social media. Due to the pandemic they’ve been stuck indoors but like any usual traveller they’ve still managed to take a few trips around the state.  Sausage Roll Model Wednesday happened today and boy oh boy did Nat whip up a treat. We tested a ‘brownie’ sausage roll and rated it a solid 11/10 giving it a moist, gooey, high ooze factor score.  And you might have seen it in the news yesterday but two cheeky emu’s called Kevin and Carol have been stealing car keys and running off with them. We talked about handshake deals this morning after two friends Joe and Tom shook hands in 1992 and promised each other that if one of them wins lotto they’d split it. A couple of weeks ago Tom won! He kept his handshake promise and split the cash.  A Saint Bernard dog has been rescued after collapsing on England’s highest peak. Sixteen volunteers spent nearly five hours rescuing Daisy after receiving the call. We talked to Aiden who had to get air-lifted from Elephant Rocks and Jacquie and her sister’s couldn’t get home so had to walk a very long way in wedding dresses… And Nathan is pretty confident he’s going to win Lotto tonight after he got a carparking spot right outside the newsagency yesterday. He plans to sleep a lot now the show is finally over and cleared up a couple of rumours about his love life with Sophie.   And Lachy Reid from Channel Ten chatted to us about last night’s Wildcats scandal.
