Stamford Chidge joins Chelsea Legend Kerry Dixon to look back at the victory against Man Utd in the FA Cup and look ahead to Stoke away this Saturday. A great atmosphere and perhaps a more tense affair than it might have been against Utd in the FA Cup quarter-final last Monday. Kerry applauds yet another stunning performance by Kante and even Michael Oliver gets some praise for stopping Utd kicking Hazard out of the game. We now look forward to Spus in the semi-final although Kerry admits that drawing Arsenal or City might have been an easier proposition. Kerry praises Chelsea's controlled win against West Ham and another big 3 points edging us ever closer to the title. As you would expect from a former Chelsea No. 9 Kerry puts up a swift defence against the Costa knockers, in terms of his goals and overall contribution to the Chelsea cause. Chelsea Supporters' Trust held their second Special General Meeting of the season after the Swansea City match. The SGMs are a good chance to report back to the membership, in person on progress with the issues we are mandated to pursue and have a face to face dialogue with the members. Held in a venue new to us, The Lillie Langtry Pub we were well looked after and a decent turnout from the membership were updated on issues such as the Membership Survey and the move to a Temporary Stadium. In addition, board members reported back on initiatives such as 'Kick-Off Times'; the Stamford Bridge Redevelopment; work on improving the atmosphere at the Bridge; work with Supporters Direct, The Football Supporters Federation and with fellow Premier League Trusts and work with the Overseas Membership. Cliff Auger formerly announced our work towards the commemoration of 'Founder's Day' at the Brompton Cemetery and our continued work helping to clean up Chelsea related graves at the cemetery. Stamford Chidge and Chelsea Legend Kerry Dixon look back at Chelsea's win against Swansea last Saturday and look ahead to Monday night's London derby against West Ham. Cesc Fabregas takes the plaudits this week but Kerry is equally impressed with the form of Pedro and that Conte is forging his version of Chelsea in to a formidable team, all playing for each other and the manager. Unlike the bizarre rumours suggesting that Conte may leave for Inter Milan in the summer, Chidge and Kerry firmly believe that the attraction of managing Chelsea in the Champions' League and building a great Chelsea team over the next few years will be too strong. Looking ahead to West Ham on Monday, Kerry thinks that as with all local derbies it will be a tough match for Chelsea. Whilst Andy Carroll presents an aerial threat and could exploit an apparent weakness Chelsea has in defending headers, Cahill and Luiz need to step up to the challenge and deal with it. Stamford Chidge & Kerry Dixon look back at Chelsea's FA Cup win against Wolves and look forward to the quarter-final tie against Man Utd. We also preview the match against Swansea coming up on Saturday. Kerry is very happy to see Costa on the score sheet again and feels that it will bode well for the title run in over the next 13 games. Conversely with Eden Hazard suffering from a dip in form, Kerry believes that he has too much quality to dweel there too long. Looking ahead to the FA Cup quarter-final against Man Utd, whilst not the ideal draw, being at home and with the tie sandwiched between a home and away Europa League Cup tie for Utd, should give Chelsea a small advantage and makes us favourites. Chidge & Kerry talk about the draw against Liverpool and feel that it was definitely a case of a point gained rather than two dropped, especially thanks to our nearest rivals all dropping points. While for Chidge, Kante and Luiz were the stand out players, Kerry applauded the team effort and was particularly impressed with Luiz's free-kick. Kerry Dixon joins Stamford Chidge to look back at the win against Hull and preview the FA Cup tie v Brentford and the massive match against Liverpool next Tuesday. Kerry and Chidge admit the win against Hull was much tougher than they thought, but after all, these are the wins you have to grind out if you want to win the title. Thank goodness for Diego Costa who again scored the crucial goal and seems to have his head back in the game. Another who's head appears to be back in the game is Courtois and his performances this season are contributing hugely to Chelsea's defensive solidity and success. Kerry believes that if he keeps this up he will undoubtedly be the best goalkeeper in the world. Let's hope Chelsea can keep hold of him!
