CTV ran with breaking news that Bob Fife had tracked down PMO Chief of Staff Ray Novak. Novak said what has been said all along, he did not know about the payment and did not read the email. While hosting on 580 CFRA in Ottawa, Brian asked the audience of the CFRA Nation if this really is that important? It speaks nothing to the guilt or innocence of Mike Duffy who is on trial. It is a question of who knew what in a scandal where the taxpayers got their money back.

Brian filled in from 9-12 Tuesday morning on 580 CFRA Ottawa. He started the show talking about skunks and the truth on pensions and Canadian seniors. Throughout the show he took calls on the Canadian election, brought the audience the latest clips from the campaign trail and even talked about what makes some converts turn to radical Islam.

Another serious plank was released by Prime Minister Stephen Harper this week but the media was obsessed with what Harper called Trudeau. They won't call him prime minister but they sure as hell don't like Justin being called Justin. Listen as Brian fills on 580 CFRA, lays out his argument and takes calls.
