Sinopse
Whats up with the name Disciple Dojo??Great question! One of my lifelong passions has been studying the martial arts. And the place where you study and train in martial arts is a Dojo. Christian Discipleship is similar to martial arts training (if you dont believe me, just ask Paulhe says so himself in his letter to Christians in ancient Corinth [1Cor. 9:26-27]!). We have a Sensei (teacher): Jesus. We have a katana (sword): Scripture. Thus Disciple Dojo is intended as a virtual Dojowhere students of the Master can be sharpened, challenged, equipped and encouraged as they continue to become more and more like the One they serveminus the scrapes and bruises!

Part 5 - God's Plan from the Beginning
22/06/2015 Duração: 01h16minAre we living in the “End Times”? When is the “Millennium”? What about the “Great Tribulation”? Who or what is the “Antichrist”? Should Christians always support the nation of Israel in order not to be “cursed”? These are questions that many popular authors and teachers have made millions off of attempting to answer through intricate colorful background charts, or fictional novels and video games. But when it comes to what the Bible actually teaches about the “End Times”, too many people rely on a passage here or there paired with some current event headline by a preacher on television, radio, or online. The result is a mass of confusion among Christians (and the wider culture as well!) over these things. Often, sensationalist voices carry the day and people view “the apocalypse” as something that will inevitably involve nuclear war, massive famine, a one-world government, and smooth-talking leaders forcing everyone to get microchips or tattoos on their foreheads and hands! But does the Bible itself actua

Who are the 144,000 in Revelation?
16/06/2015 Duração: 29minThe book of Revelation is filed with numbers and symbolic imagery...which has led to much speculation over the centuries by interested (and imaginiative!) readers. One number that has generated a good bit of speculation is the "144,000" from the tribes of Israel John sees in his vision. Who are these people? End times believers? Jews who come to faith during the Tribulation? Or something else entirely?

Love doesn't mean what we think it means
07/06/2015 Duração: 40minThe term "Love" has become of the most bland and meaningless words in the English language: "I love my family"/"I love Oatmeal Cream Pies"/"I love God"/"I love the Simpsons" All of the above are true for me...but do I have any idea what the Bible is describing when it speaks of "love"? Most people don't...do you?

Paul, Muhammed, & Joseph Smith
06/06/2015 Duração: 28minPeople often put forth new findings or "hidden" teachings about Jesus...some of which originate from angelic visions or supernatural encounters. What is the follower of Jesus to make of such claims? How do we know what we believe is not enhanced or completed by later revelations such as those of Muhammed or Joseph Smith (both of whom claimed angelic origin for their respective messages)? In this message, we take a look at what the New Testament itself has to say--with remarkable prophetic insight--to this exact issue.

In this message we look at a seemingly-bizarre story about a woman and a dragon found in the book of Revelation and discover that the Cross is about much more than Jesus "dying for our sins"...
