Episode 211: Rants R Us - Say hello you asshat!
17/12/2019 Duração: 01h08minIn our latest rant episode, Alan, Ben and Jerry start off debating whether or not the lyrics to George Michael's, "Last Christmas," make any sense whatsover. This leads into a discussion over many of the lyrics in Adele's hits. Alan tells an old Navy joke about a night in a barrel. Jerry doesn't like people who fail to plan and drop things on him at the last second with no preparation. Ben gets pissed about terrible drivers and how self-important asshats feel they don't have to heed warning signs. They touch on shock jocks and the purpose of outrageous humor in pointing out social ills and general stupidity. This causes Ben to evoke Ricky Gervais and how he manages to get away with not being PC. Next they move onto why many people in large cities cannot seem to say, "Hello" and are looking down or are generally unpleasant. This leads to Alan recounting a story of holding a door open for a woman who chastised him for it. Jerry, Ben and Alan then discuss pet names or names of endearment and how those term

Episode 210: Spotlight Reflection - Return of the Living Dead
13/12/2019 Duração: 01h31minOriginally planned to be released on Halloween 2019, this episode still gets a spooky release date of Friday the 13th (of December 2013...just incase someone from the future REALLY wanted to know!). Chris and Adam once again return in another ‘Spotlight Reflection’ show, where they reflect on movies from their past and see if they are still as good as they remember them, or do they not fare as well re-watching as an older adult? In this episode they chat about the 1985 movie Return of the Living Dead (Dave and Thom's remastered Decade of Decadence interview with Linnea Quigley will be released in early 2020, so watch out for that too). Episode 206: Rants R Us - Pilot Show
23/11/2019 Duração: 01h08minIn this inaugural episode of a brand new show for 60 Minutes With, we teamed up with the podcasters at The Wilder Ride to rant for an hour. Our goal is to team up with others, too, as we bring this new offering to our slate of shows. In this episode, Alan Sanders, Ben Ford and Walt Murray open with a quick discussion over who is actually hosting and quickly moved to a discussion of "growers" vs "showers." The main topic was kicked off from a discussion over a Northwestern University, known for their school of journalism, printing an apology for printing an actual news story. Apparently, if the newspaper covers a guest speaker who has a different political persuasion, it can be so upsetting so as to require the news event to be ignored. The conversation rolls onto why is it so hard to open our minds to other points of views and perspectives? What is so damaging in listening to others who have a different experience? Isn't being in an institution of higher learning supposed to be about exposing ourselves
