(STINGER: WWE) It sounds like there is some validity to reports over the weekend of possible changes tp WWE’s NXT brand and developmental system. The reports surfaced following the releases of thirteen performers last Friday. One of those released wrestlers posted a statement over the weekend...and alluded to what’s happening behind the scenes. Anthony Henry - who wrestled as Asher Hale in WWE - wrote, “There is a shift happening, within the company, and I no longer fit what they are looking for.” Henry added that he was wrestling through an injury - two herniated disks - during most of his 6-month run in WWE. One of pro wrestling’s most respected in-ring performers...has died. Bobby Eaton was a wrestler’s wrestler - admired by his peers for his skill inside the squared circle...and for his kind nature away from the ring. Eaton is recognized as one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time. His run as part of the original Midnight Express is legendary. Eaton’s family announced he passed away on Wednesday night.
