The Riverhounds were down 1-0 after the first half and came back with the 2 goals after 20 shots in the second half. Richmond only had 3 shots and all were in the first half. Dwight Clark - known for the catch in NFC title game over the Cowboys in 1981 that was the start of 4 championships in the 80’s. He passed from ALS. Clark had 2 Pro Bowl appearances, 2 Super Bowl rings as a player, and is still 3rd on the list of Niners receiving yards of 6,750 4th in receptions with 506 and 7th in TD’s with 48. In 87, Clark moved to the front office where he earned 3 more rings as an executive with the Niners. In 1999 he joined the Browns in an executive role. On one of THRIFTY's Thrifting Adventures Ryan found multiple blank cassette + a cassette recorder. Matt and Steve are talking about this week in sports updates, including: The Riverhounds took its first USL loss of the season 1-0 to Nashville, but had a 0-0 tie with Penn FC after. The Riverhounds returned home for the weekend with the Richmond Kickers. Pitt Baseball made it to the Final 4 of the ACC tournament, but lost to Louisville. It seems that the ACC has elevated PITT in smaller non-mainstream collegiate athletics. Mark Madden wrote an article on Sullivan and Kessel. In PGA news, it's the last week in the Forth Worth Invitational. Justin Rose won with a -20. Steve got to check out some of the Memorial at Muirfield Village “Jack's Place” It's fun to see the pros do some of the same things Steve does. The NHL Stanley Cup Finals! Game one went to the Knights with a back-and-forth game with a 6-4 final, and game two went to the Caps 3-2.
