This is a very late version of the Joe and Charlie Big Book workshops recorded in 2003, the audio quality is excellent. Joe McQ and Charlie P met in 1973, they instantly discovered their mutual fascinations with AA's Big Book. The study they met for regularly became something they presented at meetings, eventually becoming this workshop. At the AA International Convention in New Orleans in 1980, Wesley P, organized a lunch for 1,500 AA members from all over the world and gave away 100 Joe & Charlie workshop tape sets as door prizes. Invitations exploded, and within a couple of years Joe & Charlie were presenting about 36 seminars a year worldwide. He is telling his story about his first 14 years in AA, this was recorded in 1949. The end if this speak (about 6 min) is a bit of Dr Bobs last talk in 1950. There are no where near as many recordings of Dr Bob as there are of Bill W and the ones that are around are generally fairly bad, this one had a nasty hum, but it cleaned up really well and is one of the best I have heard of Dr Bob. I cleaned this audio up as best I could but there comes a point that removing any more of the background hiss and he starts sounding like a mouse talking. I got the majority out but there is a bit of hiss in this. Sandy is the leader of this workshop covering the steps this part is steps 10-12, this is part 4 of a four part series where he goes through all 12 steps  steps.
