Sinopse

Episódios

  • #27 - A Rampage of Snuggles

    23/05/2017 Duração: 56min

I finally sit down with a man who has been strangely connected to all manner of characters throughout the wasteland, Nick Josten. We sit down and talk a long time about South Dakota, hats, the evolution of video games, Green Day, and we talk a whole load of shit about Japan. Just kidding, let's say it was a cultural analysis of Josten-Sensei's time as an English teacher. That sounds way nicer! This is also the first two-part episode! Tune in next week for even more of Nick and I rambling about stuff. We both have a lot of cumulative life experience and both don't like talking too much about it.

  • #26 - My Two Heads: A Journey In Sexual Experiences

    16/05/2017 Duração: 56min

Today my guest(s) is/are Andrea and Sara (Andrea B and Sara Rooker), two heads on a single mutant body, or two mutant heads on a single body, I'm not sure, all I know is that they aren't normal. Though they are two personalities sharing a body, Andrea is straight and Sara is gay, but they kind of have the same problems. That is also the crux of their upcoming podcast Same Problems, so be on the lookout for that! We talk about sliding the mayor's DMs, taking all manner of dick, being involved in circus affairs, being straight girl/lesbian chic, dick slapping injuries, strange addictions, and getting locked in a cage.

  • #25 - Floyd Mayweather VS A Fucking Grizzly

    09/05/2017 Duração: 01h01min

My guest today is a man on a journey. Hailing from Chicago, IL, Brendan Gay. He's 20 weeks into a 52-week journey, honing his craft in all the scenes he can across the continental United States. We talk about we talk about my military upbringing, telling jokes across the country, midwestern colloquialisms, the robots eventual uprising, casinos, and life on the road. Turns out I don't know how much a ton is and also don't know how much a moose weighs. Oops! You can always tell when I am on the mic with another podcaster because I get interviewed as well. You can check out Brendan's podcast at brendanbeingbrendan.com and follow him on Twitter @BrendanGay92.

  • #24 - The Face of College Ruled Paper

    02/05/2017 Duração: 59min

It's THE RETURN OF AUSTIN BACA, SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR THE WHOLE SEAT BUT YOU'LL ONLY USE THE EDGE. We talk about Harry Potter, Los Angeles open mics, my collection of musicals, doing weeds, barfing, wet lasers, and yams versus sweet potatoes. We analyze our trip to Los Angeles that we took with fellow Reno comics. I try to piece together a missing chunk of high-time and we talk about me losing my brunch.

  • #23 - Hitler's Home for Wayward Individuals

    25/04/2017 Duração: 53min

While foraging through the wastes I came across a very confused and seemingly lost individual. He seemed familiar so I struck up a conversation with him. Through our talks, I found out that he is an interdimensional traveler but it seems his travels were not of his own volition. It seems that an errant wish had sent fat, gay Hitler to us from a universe where dear Dolphy actually made it into art school. If you think that story is a doozy, just get into the episode to hear more. If you'd like to contact the podcast you can find us on most social media @pnrpod or you can shoot us an email at postnuclearreno@gmail.com

  • #22 - Don't Get Lost In The Barrio

    18/04/2017 Duração: 01h03min

I'm beginning to think my guest today, Lyonel Begay, interviewed me better than I did him. We talk at length about Final Fantasy, not getting lost in the Barrio, Moving couches, taxes, my own life history, and other types of media laying around my house. We move around a lot in this conversation and I wish I had done a better job of keeping up, but that's okay, if you want to hear more conversation between Lyonel and I you can check out his podcast Reno Nonsense which I will be on in the near future!

  • #21 - All You Can Eat Ass Buffet

    11/04/2017 Duração: 59min

I ran into a battle bot in the streets and decided to call him in for a podcast! We talk all about battle rap, robo-anatomy, Shel Silverstein, ass buffets, Devil Went Down to Georgia, and accents. The friendly robot, BJ Master (Sam Corbin), tells me all about his transition from failed battle robot to amateur battle-rap robot. Turns out I don't know anything about robots! The good news is, I think I learned but I'm not really sure what. During the break in the middle of podcasting, I may or may not have been looking up the phrase "All You Can Fuck Buffet" which yielded many giggles at finding a video called "All You Can Eat Ass Buffet."

  • #20 - An Ode to Odes

    04/04/2017 Duração: 01h02min

I was somehow able to wrangle myself the Poet Laureate of Reno, Bartholomew Stranglethorpe (Nick Josten). We dive into his creative process, how he became Poet Laureate, and he reads us a few select poems from his "Ode to Odes." Can I hold it together? No! Does he say, "I like to do sex real rough."? Yes!

  • #19 - Liberal Vegan Hecklers

    28/03/2017 Duração: 01h11min

I sit down with local Reno comedian Alex Fissell to talk a little beginner comedy shop and history. Alex and I deal with our emotions about hecklers, comedy itself, and we get into his past life as a Texan degenerate. If you like to hear how comedians get their start then this is the perfect place to start! Not only are we both just starting in the grand scheme of things, but we get a bit into how we started. • #17 - Squeef Jerky and Ball Kicking

    14/03/2017 Duração: 57min

Whilst exploring the nuclear wastes I came across a shipping container surrounded by squirrels. Inside I found a slight man molding discount kibble into bait so I invited him into my home to be ridiculed by today's other guest, Austin Baca! The Kibbler (Sam Corbin) tells us all about his life with the squirrels, Larry the Cable Guy, and asks us what girls are.  The Kibbler, having found out about women, raced off mid-broadcast but while attempting to chase him back I found local garbage man Sean Combs (no relation) and decided to invite him in to talk metal, ball kicking, cousins at Prom, and ball kicking. I have a hell of a discussion with local Reno comedian Nik Taro ranging from monkeys doing acid, the honeycomb grappling through the universe that we do, and ethnomusicology. Nothing bad happened, and we definitely didn't watch a bigfoot video in the middle of this. • #7 - Emergency Broadcast

    03/01/2017 Duração: 14min

This is a repeating message from Post-Nuclear Reno, the New Years lockdown is still in effect city-wide. Please remember to stay hidden at all times and be sure that all doors and windows are locked. If you have barricaded thoroughly, please be sure to keep a fire extinguisher handy and stay away from flammable substances. The New Years Eve Kiss is still within the city limits and will not leave until it has claimed a victim. If you hear fireworks, do not look at them, if you see fireworks, immediately run in the opposite direction and seek shelter. Again, the New Years Eve Kiss still has yet to claim its yearly victim. For those that are trying to live through this new year, please use these helpful tips to avoid the New Years Eve Kiss. Keep your lips parallel to the ground as much as possible and do not move them unless absolutely necessary. Avoid using any devices that may give off a heat signature. Do not kiss any loved ones, the New Years Eve Kiss can smell fresh kisses from up to 5 miles away. If

Enthralling? No! A Podcast? Technically! We give shout-outs in the show to local musician Bazooka Zac who DJ'd another string of shows we talked about from out comrade in Reno, Nik Taro who is hosting weekly charity shows for those affected by the DAPL in Standing Rock.
