Did you know 90% of Tennessee is privately owned? TWRA is charged with managing all Tennessee’s wildlife but it is hard to do so when only 10% of the land is available for public agencies to manage. Working with private landowners is very important and the only way to manage the other 90%. This week we talk with Habitat Program Manager Mark Gudlin and Wildlife Habitat Biologist Clint Borum to explore just how important it is to help landowners implement a plan to make improvements for wildlife.
