Brought to you by: www.poetryafterdark.com A D'Poetess & Chyna Blue Production "Regret Nothing | Write Everything" is the mantra echoing behind the images in the poetry of spoken word artist Shelly Bell poetically known as "She Seven". She is a NC A&T SU Alumni with B.S. in Computer Science, VA certified teacher, and published author. She has been writing since the age of 12, but found that performance poetry was her purpose in 2009. Since then Shelly has been nominated for Poet of the Year in the Annual Baltimore Crown Awards 2010 featured and hosted at Busboys and Poets, spotlighted at the Black LUV fest, National Poetry Awards and featured as a spoken word artist in two stage plays. Her raspy voice and laid back personality combined with real world experiences inspire all who come in contact with her. In the words of She Seven, "the hour glass is always half full, which means time is always on a dreamer's side."

Featured Poet Larie Edwards By the time he was nine years old, Lariè was already writing and arranging songs and poetry; and he performed in numerous talent shows throughout his grade school years. In his years as a performer, he has opened for the Talaam Acey, Joe Claire, Ohio Players, Jimmy “J.J.” Walker, and John Witherspoon. Lariè studied Music and Broadcast Communications at Norfolk State University, in Norfolk Virginia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. During his college years, and to the present, he has performed at countless venues throughout the mid-Atlantic region, to include the “Urban Independent Music Awards”, the Alexandria Jazz Festival, and the popular Cada Vez Night Club in Washington D.C.
