ORIGINAL AIRDATE: February 17th, 2017 --- Phoenix and the bounty-hunting Colton family fight over a criminal worth 4 million dollars. MISSION: Attempting to track down a fugitive on their own, Mac and Jack butt heads with the intervening Colton family over the right to turn in the criminal and win an exorbitant bounty. This week's highlights include: Buttermilk Pie (Food) Buttermilk pie is a custard-like pie. Originally from the United Kingdom, it is now a traditional pie of the southern United States. It is similar to, and sometimes confused with, chess pie but it does not include cornmeal. The basic filling consists of a mixture of sugar, butter, eggs, buttermilk and wheat flour. Variations on the recipe may include flavorings such as vanilla, lemon zest and nutmeg. Buttermilk pies are made with a pie crust. ORIGINAL AIRDATE: February 3rd, 2017 --- When a wanted criminal shows up in a viral video, Phoenix tracks him down MISSION: Riley develops a facial recognition software and runs it through YouTube. It catches one of the FBI's most wanted criminals. Now Mac and Jack intend to track him down but quickly notice other agents planning to intercept the suspect. This week's highlights include: Lock bumping (Locksmithing) Lock bumping is a lock picking technique for opening a pin tumbler lock using a specially crafted bump key, rapping key or a 999 key. ORIGINAL AIRDATE: January 13th, 2017 --- After a helicopter crash, Mac, Jack, and pilot Cynthia must re-capture an escaped terrorist. MISSION: Returning to Phoenix with a captive terrorist, Mac, Jack, and pilot Cynthia are shot out of the sky in Kazakhstan. They must find their captive and signal rescue crews in time to meet Patricia's replacement, their new boss. Leyden jar (Electricity) A Leyden jar, or Leiden jar, is a device that "stores" static electricity between two electrodes on the inside and outside of a glass jar. A Leyden jar typically consists of a glass jar with metal foil cemented to the inside and the outside surfaces, and a metal terminal projecting vertically through the jar lid to make contact with the inner foil. This is often used for classroom demonstrations because it requires only a small number of ingredients and makes a "volcano of foam". This sometimes is known as the "Marshmallow Experiment", but is unrelated to the psychological Stanford marshmallow experiment. Cobbler (Food) Cobbler refers to a variety of dishes, particularly in the United Kingdom and United States, consisting of a fruit or savory filling poured into a large baking dish and covered with a batter, biscuit, or dumpling (in England) before being baked. This week's highlights include: Ninja rocks (Crime) Ninja rocks are broken shards of spark plugs formed by smashing the ceramic portion of the spark plug with a hammer or other large object. Since they can quickly and quietly fracture the glass side windows on most cars, ninja rocks have been used in "smash-and-grab" auto burglaries since at least 1995 (at least by Slovenian car burglers). They have no traditional association with the ninja or ninjutsu, only being named such due to their "silent but deadly" function in burglaries.
