It is just crazy scenes overseas at the moment. The surprise attack on Israel, the footage of civilians being taken hostage on the back of trucks. The brutal murders.It’s terrifying to watch. And the politics of it all is complex.Stories of war and conflict can feel distant and foreign and it’s easy to turn away and scroll on by. Do that if you need.But Ally has family in Israel. Her aunt and uncle's car was hit by a missile whilst they were in their home in Ashkelon on Sunday night.
