    Michael Silverman is from Scottsdale, Arizona where he is the owner and publisher at Vintage Motorsport magazine, the journal of motor racing history. He’s been racing vintage cars for over 16 years and his publication is known as the go-to magazine and website in the vintage motorsports world. He’s been a journalist his entire life working having worked in the showbiz trade and other venues and then in 2002, following his passion for historic race cars, he joined Vintage Motorsports as the general manager. Then in 2012 he purchased the publication. I’m a long time fan and subscriber to Vintage Motorsport magazine and if you love old race cars, you’ll love it too.

    Alex Riberas is an international motorsports racer driver from Barcelona, Spain who is currently racing with Team Seattle Alex Job Racing in a Porsche 911GT3R. His teammates are Ian James and Mario Farnbacher who are both past guests here at Cars Yeah. Alex started racing karts at the age of 12, then Formula Renault in Europe. He became a Porsche Motorsport Junior racer and competed in Porsche Carrera Cup and Supercup. He’s raced at the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. He’s the first Spaniard to win a Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race. Since founded in 1997 Team Seattle, founded by Cars Yeah guest Don Kitch and Alex Job Raising has raised over 6 millions of dollars for Seattle Children’s Hospital and Alex helped raise $500,000 of that in his efforts with the Heart of Raising and Team Seattle.

    Boris Said is an American race car driver from California who’s been racing for over 30 years. His father was Bob Said, a Formula One race driver and a U.S. Olympic bobsled driver. In his early days Boris raced motorcycles, then SCCA in the late 80s and from there he moved to the IMSA series in a BMW M3. He’s won the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Boris has raced in NASCAR in the Craftsman Truck Series, and in cars as well and he has raced in the American Le Mans Series and he also competed in the X Games and the Baja 1000. Endurance, off road, touring cars, Boris has raced them all. Boris is a partner in a California BMW and VW dealership and he is the co-owner at K1Speed, a nationwide business with 34 indoor karting tracks.

He is the past President of the Model T ford Club of America, past President of the Bay Area Horseless Carriage club, Mid Peninsula Old Timer Auto Club, head Class Judge at a number of Concours d’Elegance events and co-Founder of the Annual Santa Clara Valley Model T ford Club 200 Mile Cross Country Endurance Run. He’s authored numerous articles in national automobile magazines and Ed was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2005 he was inducted in to the Model T Ford Speedster and Race Cars Hall of Fame. More than anything Ed loves driving old cars.

    Tommy Kendall is an American race car driver and television broadcaster best known for his IMSA GT Championships, GTU Championships, and the SCCA Trans-Am Series where he dominated in the 1990s. He ran in 14 NASCAR Winston Cup Series races, the Busch Series, and raced in the AMP Bathurst 1000, the American Le Mans Series plus the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His grandfather was a Sprint Car racer who set records around the country and his uncle, Scott Brayton, raced Indy Cars but tragically lost his life at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1996. His father raced in the IMSA series running in GTU and Camel Lite. Hunter started racing at 9 years old in a kart and moved to the national level at the age of 13. He raced SCCA Formula 600 at the age of 15 and that’s where he currently races today.

At his company Parker Chassis, he was a fabricator, chassis builder, crew chief, and drag racer who in 2005 won the title as the ADRL Pro Nitrous Pro Mod Champion. One of his dreams was to build a Bonneville car and a tragic racing accident set him on that course. Today Dan is realizing his dream and has designed and built a custom bike that in 2013 he took to the Bonneville Salt Flats and successfully ran, setting a world record. Dan returned in 2014 and set his F.I.M. class record. And what were these records for? Dan was the first blind man to independently race a motorcycle on the salt. Dan’s motto is: “I’m not a blind man trying to race. I’m a racer who went blind.”
