Scripture: Colossians 1: 24-25, Are you suffering in any area of your life right now? The truth is all of us are suffering to some level of degree. Recent polls suggest that Americans are becoming more and more unhappy. Does the gospel of Jesus Christ have anything to say about an answer to our suffering?

Have you ever been in a situation where the relationship you have with someone feels disconnected? Perhaps it was good at one time but now you wonder whether it can ever be repaired. There have always been conflicts. Conflicts between people, between corporations, between nations. But there is no greater conflict than that of man vs God. Can it ever be resolved?

Scripture: Colossians 1:18-20, How is Jesus above all? He never went to an Ivy League College. He wasn't elected President nor did He sit on the throne of any nation. Yet He is considered the most famous person to ever live. Even if Jesus isn't considered above all in the field of academics, or in the media, or by Hollywood's standards, He should be considered above all by the people who follow Him.

Scripture: Colossians 1:15-17, How important is it to get your facts right? In every aspect of your life, getting your facts right is critical, whether its appointments on your calendar, technical data for work or the date of your anniversary. What about mistaken identity? There are cases where people have been mistaken for others and have paid the price of their transgressions. But what about Jesus? He is one identify you must get right. You need to be sure you know who Jesus is.

Scripture: Colossians 1: 9-11, Are you a grateful person? When you thank God, what do you thank Him for? Your family, health, job, friends? Those are all great things to be thankful for but Paul gave us a list of things we should be thankful for that God has done to give us eternal life.

Scripture: Colossians 1:9-11, Do you believe praying for other people makes a difference? Prayer is a direct line to God and we should never discount the power of prayer. God loves it when we pray for the people around us. Can you imagine what would happen if all of us became devoted to praying for those around us? What exactly would we pray?

Scripture: Colossians 1: 9-11, How do you measure influence? You might feel that the person with the most money has the most influence. Or perhaps its the person with the most votes, or the most Championships or the best education. In many cases, those examples might be true. But one of the most influential Christians in American history had none of those things.

Scripture: Colossians , Do you have a strategy or plan for praying for other people? If you pray, you probably pray for other people and want good things to happen for them. But while we want to pray for other people and believe in prayer, few people actually have a strategic plan for prayer.

Scripture: Colossians 1: 1-8, Do you think its important to have role models? All of us have people we look up to or influence us and some of us even influence others. Have you ever thought of the importance of role models in your Christian life?
