  • 402. Who Are the Most Libertarian "Game of Thrones" Characters? w/ Pete "Mance Rayder" Raymond!

    27/05/2019 Duração: 01h08min

In today's flagship Lions of Liberty podcast, Marc is joined by friend of the show, Pete "Mance Rayder" Raymond, the host of Free Man Beyond the Wall. When I first found Pete and his podcast, I had never seen "Game of Thrones" and didn't fully understand how and why it had inspired the name of his podcast and his former pseudonym. But since then I binged the whole show, and it soon became clear to my why Pete was such a fan! The show conveys - perhaps inadvertently - many libertarian themes via the actions of many of it's prominent characters. When the show approached it's finale, I knew I wanted to do a podcast taking a look at these characters and themes, so of course the first person to come to mind was Pete Raymond!  Marc and Pete look at a number of the show's prominent characters through a libertarian filter, and break down which characters best display libertarian qualities. Who will win the Libertarian Game of Thrones? Tune in to find out! WARNING: If you haven't seen all of "Game of Thrones" and

Speaking in favor the theory is Marxist economic and professor Dr. Richard Wolff, while taking the negative is our old friend Antony Sammeroff, who was most recently on the show debating Universal Basic Income. The result is a great conversation that you don't often find out - an honest and open dialogue between two passionate people with two vastly differing world views. I'm really happy with how this conversation turned out, and I know the Lions will enjoy it too! • 400. A Lovely Libertarian Conversation About Abortion

    13/05/2019 Duração: 01h18min

In today's 400th! Episode of the flagship Lions of Liberty podcast, Marc celebrates in the only way that seemed fitting - by hosting a debate about abortion of course! Marc welcomes three libertarian stalwarts who break down the issue from varying perspectives: Avens O'Brien (Pro-Choice), Walter Block ("Evictionism") and Part of the Problem's Dave Smith (Pro-Life). The gang breaks down the issue from the prism of individual rights and property rights, and attempt to poke holes in each other's point of view. When it's all said and done, this can only be described, as Block puts it, as a "lovely conversation" about abortion! Enjoy! Mainstream media has conveniently pretended that this never happened! During this episode of Felony Friday Snedden shines a light on the extreme corruption in the Pennsylvania justice system that allowed these illegal and unconstitutional legal maneuvers to go on unchecked.  John Snedden's appearance is well timed considering the recent news that former Pennsylvania State University President Graham Spanier's conviction was just thrown out by a federal judge.  John Snedden is a Veteran NCIS Special Agent, previous "NCIS Special Agent of the Year" (Ge
