John was a 1st time offender. His story is unique. His fishing business had fallen on hard time and he made some questions decisions. For his completely non-violent crime John was sentenced to LIFE, without parole You might remember hearing about John's story, his wife June was on to advocate for his clemency is August of 2020. In March 2016, Dalton Morrow was in prison. He says that he gave information to a special agent, which he overheard from his cellmate, that there was going to be a terrorist attack in Orlando in the early summer. Of course, there was a horrifying mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando in June 2016 where 49 people were killed. Nobody ever followed up with Dalton after he passed the information along. We'll get into the specifics of what information Dalton gave to authorities and how the judge denied his release from prison, even when he gave this information with the understanding that it would help him to get out of prison sooner.
