We’re back with our first keeping up after summer break! We decided to take some time and chat all about our family work retreat. We took all of our kids and stepped away as a family to spend time together as well as get some much-needed clarity for the businesses that we run together as siblings. This week we are joined by a long time friend of the show, Linda Garcia. Except this time, she comes to us as Representative Linda Garcia from Texas house District 107. Representative Garcia and her fellow democrats are currently fighting to stop intentional gerrymandering in the state of Texas. She joined us just a few days ago to share why she has chosen to leave the state to intentionally break quorum. Cynthia Carrasco joins us this week to share some of her own divorce experience, and what other women should know if they’re thinking about leaving their own marriage. Cynthia is a first-generation college and law school graduate and an attorney who has worked in juvenile defense, immigration, family law, and civil rights. She also has experience going through her own journey with divorce. Everyone deserves to feel safe and healthy in their relationships, and Cynthia hope that sharing her own divorce story can help other women feel empowered to stand up for themselves. Alex Soto joins us as the newest Super Papá inductee to talk all about fatherhood. Alex is a first-generation entrepreneur and business owner who lives here in LA. He founded Pantone 294, El Lay Sports, runs a body shop, and is a dad on top of it all. Today, we talk all about his outlook on fatherhood, and how he is raising his daughters to be a great next generation of women. We also get into the differences in parenting between us an our parents, and how we are doing things differently and breaking cycles. It can be so difficult to navigate our current healthcare system. This week, we have Dr. Alicia Morehead-Gee to help give us a little bit of guidance on how to understand the healthcare world.
