    Marianne Henderson is the owner of Sandhill Designs and Upholstery.  She is a dedicated wife and loving mother of three wonderful children, including girl/boy twins in their late thirties and a youngest son who is soon to turn 30. From an early age, she had a passion for sewing, starting with making her own Barbie clothes and later progressing to designing her own outfits. She saved her allowance to buy fabric and patterns and, after taking a single sewing class in junior high, continued to teach herself the craft. Although she was accepted into the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco, a life-changing event altered her path just before she was set to attend.
