The road to the Royal Rumble continues, with not a Roadblock in sight! RAW was pretty terrible this week, so the guys instead focus on Smackdown, NXT, and even NJPW to find the good in the grappling. They wrestle with the following questions: Who will win the 2017 Royal Rumble? Is it possible that entrance themes play magically upon proximity to an entry way? Did Carmella fight an old lady? Will Tozawa save us from a lackluster 205 Live product? Is an Intergalactic Championship on the way?

Baby, it's cold outside! No, really, it is, so please bundle up and listen to this episode! Also, Jason really enjoy the comfort and familiarity of the airport TGIFriday's and Steve is tired of asking for his burgers to be well done. Finally, do you know your secret bathroom codes? Welcome to 2017, Grapplers! It seems that not much has changed, but the machine keeps rolling on. We have some Roadblock thoughts and reflections to mix in with our talk about the recent RAW and Smackdown Live goings on, including the HOT FIRE return of the King of the Cruiserweights, Neville, and why Sami Zayn is the most compelling story being told on the RAW roster right now. Also, how many entrance themes include self-voiced intros? Our report!

It's the last show before Christmas, and we have more gifts for you! Chris Grine is celebrating Wicked Crispy getting a book deal, and Harry Potter has never been more succinct, or hilarious. Also, the guys take a deeper dive on Rising Sand, one of the most gorgeous comics to ever grace a computer screen.

The last PPV of the year brings us our second Roadblock of the year, but this one is the End of the Line! We have updates on Zack Ryder, James Ellsworth, and Sami Zayn, in addition to our predictions for the big night. Who can afford to eat a loss, Rusev or Cass? Will the New Day lose so soon after making history? Will Sami survive Strowman? Will the cruiserweights deliver? Will we care by the end of the Ironwoman match? Will HHH start the build to Wrestlemania? And will someone please give us a break and not announce a new belt and/or show for a few months?

Steve is concerned with the massive sex problem facing Japan and he wants to discuss it with Jason. He also brings robots into the mix, which, given the geographic setting, isn't out of the question. Proving that Steve is making great choices, he also regails us with his tales of blood, sweat, and tears, and what his son's reaction was to seeing them all in person.

On the second day of Christmas, Steve and Jason gave to me, so much webcomics stuff you'd think it was already the 12th day! Stuff like a new webcomic team-up from Legendary and Jessica Chobot, a fun video about how maybe NOT to do webcomics, a hiatus for Kris Straub's Broodhollow, the gorgeous art of Rising Sand, and how Angela Melick has wrapped up Wasted Talent.

It's mid-December, just a few days from Christmas, so it must be time to recap a WWE PPV! TLC is in the books, and the guys want to talk about the delusions of James Ellsworth, the effectiveness of any random kendo stick, AJ Styles' butt hole, and how much Mandarin Steve knows. Ok, only one of them want to talk about that.

Did you know that Steve grew up as the one and only Defender of Pocatello, the one that legends speak of? It's true! Hear about how he and his trusty companion, Stick, stood vigilant for days on end, watching and waiting for the Bloods and the Crips to come make their play for his small but impressionable town.

The guys return to days gone by and dedicate the entire episode to a review of a single webcomic! They turn their critical eyes towards Riana Dorsey's Suihira, a tale about family, beliefs, and dedication in the face of adversity. Also, a killer whale that is the deity embodiment of water. Enjoy!

Before we can snuggle up and stay warm and cozy for the holidays, it's time to get the first of two WWE PPVs out of the way. TLC is tomorrow and we've got the card plus our predictions, hopes, and dreams to go over. Will The Undertaker make an appearance? Will we see a giant pile of steel chairs? Will AJ Styles Clash someone through something?

Steve is adamant that genitalia are fair game for kid's jokes, but stealing a friend's punchline is a no-go in his household. Also, is your poop lucky, and are you unlucky because you try to rid yourself of it? Finally, the guys evaluate the cast of Ice Age: Collision Course.

Though the guys have seen a lot of the slice-of-life, art student journal comics lately, Electric Bunny Comics is yet another fun one. Ascension, however, is not fun, but could be something special someday. Steve also brings Grassblades to the conversation, tropes and all. Finally, Jason has an idea that will return us to old-school Digital Strips next week. Listen in for the details and find out how you can join the experience!

Well, that was quite a match, huh? Jason and Steve break down the Lesnar/Goldberg classic, and lament the fact that nothing has changed after a pretty good show. They also discuss Sami Zayn's transformation into Mick Foley, the New Day's slow heel turn burn, Steve's shame in the women's wrestling game, and why the Royal Rumble match is probably the perfect next move for Bill Goldberg's ride off into the sunset.

With a chill in the air and a crispness in the wind, it's time to talk about unfortunate zipper incidents. Also, aren't kid's jokes just the worst?
