With the rise of carbon tax in the budget this Michael Sheridan, motoring journalist has been test driving an electric car for the last while and he joins Marian and the panel to talk about it.

This week Turkey launched a series of air and ground attacks against Kurdish forces in north-east Syria. Joining Marian for an update from the Turkey/Syria border Orla Guerin and joining the panel to discuss it further Colonel Colm Doyle.

The National Portrait Award was won by a photographer earlier this week. Marian was joined in studio by Ciara O’Brien,Technology Journalist with the Irish Times to talk about smartphone cameras and taking the perfect picture.

Following Facebook's ban of an advert for the new book Glenstal Abbey- Through the season which includes paintings featuring nudity. Former Abbot at Glenstal, Mark Patrick Hederman joined Marian in studio.

Marian was joined on the line by Irish author John Banville who was subject to a cruel hoax during the week when he was told he won the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Last weekend The Chameleon restaurant in Temple Bar in Dublin closed its doors for the last time after 25years. Owners Kevin O’Toole and Carol Walsh joined Marian in studio this morning
