This episode is about music videos that were produced in the years immediately prior to the debut of MTV in 1981, and serves as sort of a prequel to the second episode of "Music Raygun" from four years ago, which was about music videos from MTV's first few years.

We know a lot of "Music Raygun" fans listen to the podcast only for the music trivia quiz. And since the quiz has been on pause during the pandemic, we're also sure we're lost thousands of those listeners.
